Nutrition Classes!

Kids really love this one! Hands on fun in the kitchen, mixing organic all natural ice cream, baking scrumptious sunshine bars, zany zucchini muffins, bunny-licious carrot bread, and creating freaky fruit snacks and terribly terrific trail mix.  Science and math are learned as part of the process. Your child will have a new love of good-to-eat, good-for-them foods as they play with cooking. And best of all-we clean up the mess! Fun outdoor games, crafts, songs, exercises and lessons on making responsible choices in their daily eating habits.  Recipes and snacks will be sent home.

This is an amazing program full of fun and frolic. Get connected to how foods grow and are good for your body. We will grow and eat our own sprouts; make a Green Monster shake; eat Salad People; create Jumpin’ Alive Juice. Also bring new plants home and continue to experience a connection to earth. Be the family expert on gardening and on yummy healthy eating! Play outdoor games, do crafts and sing silly songs about food. Learn to choose fruits and vegetables for health and for tasty snacking. Recipes and snack will be sent home.  Curriculum based on Produce For Better Health Foundation.
